Nancy is a patient advocate for the Scleroderma Foundation Michigan Chapter. She has served in the capacity of support group leader for Macomb County since 2013 and as the virtual support group leader since 2015. Nancy has served on the fundraising committee of the Scleroderma Foundation Michigan Chapter’s Stampede Scleroderma for several years and volunteers in the chapter’s office twice a week. Her advocacy efforts led to Congresswomen Candace Miller successfully signing the legislative efforts to support scleroderma initiatives. Nancy is a scleroderma patient but she does not allow her disease to define her or restrict her from achieving her life goal of creating awareness for the scleroderma community.
