Amanda Lawrie-Jones

President of Scleroderma Australia and Scleroderma Victoria

Amanda is the President of Scleroderma Australia (since 2018) and Scleroderma Victoria (since 2015) and her leadership and commitment is demonstrated by her community connections on several other Boards, including the Victorian Disability Advisory Council (VDAC), which reports to the Minister of Disability, Ageing and Carers, as well as the Chair of the Board of Arts Access Victoria. As an experienced HR Professional and Access and Inclusion Consultant, Amanda works with organizations to implement strategies, policies and processes to enable inclusive environments for employees, customers and community members with disability. Amanda’s involvement with SPIN started in 2019 when she partnered with SPIN to get Australian support group leaders enrolled in the SPIN-SSLED trial. Since then, both Scleroderma Victoria and Scleroderma Australia, along with the other Australian organizations, have been key partners with SPIN, especially since the rapid development and implementation of the SPIN-COVID-19 Cohort and the SPIN-CHAT trial.
