Elsa is a Vanier Scholar and a third-year PhD student in Clinical Psychology at McGill University. Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, she began her undergraduate studies in psychology at the Lebanese American University before transferring to Concordia University, where she completed a BA (Honours) in Psychology. She went on to complete an MSc in Psychiatry at McGill with the team.

This work includes primary research (e.g., RCTs testing approaches), evidence synthesis, and meta-research (i.e., research on research) to examine current practices. As part of her doctoral training, Elsa is also completing supervised clinical placements, currently at the McGill University Health Centre, where she provides psychological assessment and intervention.
